Mihir Bhoj I: Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty Guhil dynasty: Chatsu inscription reveals that Harsharaj Guhil defeated the Gaur king and collected taxes from the kings of eastern India. Horses were given as a gift to mihirbhoj Bhoj. It appears from this inscription that the Guhil king was also under Gurjar Bhoj.

Haryana: The Pehowa inscription of 882 AD proves that during the reign of Bhojdev, some traders had bought and sold horses in the market there. It is proved from this statement that Haryana also had the right of Bhoj.


War with Rashtrakutas: Like his ancestors, Bhoj also had to fight with Rashtrakuta kings. This time the war was started by Bhoj himself. He conquered Ujjain by defeating the Rashtrakuta ruler. At this time, the Rashtrakuta dynasty was ruled by Krishna II.

पालों से युद्ध : भोज को अपने समकालीन पाल वंश के शासक देवपाल से भी युद्ध किया था. देवपाल पाल वंश का एक महान शासक था व भोज की भांति भारतवर्ष में अपना एकछत्र राज्य स्थापित करना चाहता था. देवपाल के बाद उसके उत्तराधिकारी नारायणपाल को भोज ने बुरी तरह पराजित किया था.इसका सर्वाधिक प्रचलित अभिलेख ग्वालियर प्रशस्ति है जिससे इस वंश के बारें में काफी जानकारी मिलती है. इसने एक विशाल साम्राज्य की स्थापना की जिसकी स्थायी राजधानी कन्नौज को बनाया गया था. कश्मीरी कवि कल्हण की “राजतरंगिणी” में मिहिरभोज की उपलब्धियों पर प्रकाश डाला गया है. अरब यात्री “सुलेमान” ने मिहिरभोज को भारत का सबसे शक्तिशाली शासक बताया है जिसने अरबों को रोक दिया था.


Its title Adivaraha is found in the Gwalior inscription. Daulatpur inscription calls it Prabhas. But he had got the title of Adivaraha engraved on his coins. During this period, coins of silver and copper, on which Shrimadadivarah was inscribed. These coins are a sign of his might and his salvation. It is considered a great ruler not only of Pratihara dynasty but also of ancient India.
